Portland, Oregon, June 9, 2016 (Newswire.com) - The Hello Foundation (www.thehellofoundation.com) has been honored with a 2016 When Work Works Award for its use of effective workplace strategies to increase business and employee success.
This prestigious award recognizes employers of all sizes and types across the country. A total of 351 workplaces from across the country won awards this year, 19 in Oregon. On June 6, Congresswoman Bonamici presented the awards to recipients at the White Stag Building, during a luncheon in downtown Portland.
"Our numbers speak for themselves. Minimal turnover, high retention, revenue growth year after year . . . regardless of a near virtual environment, we have successfully grown a culture of trust and collaborative professionalism."
Sharon Soliday, CEO & Advocate for Kids
The Hello Foundation is a telehealth and staffing resource of speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists and school psychologists committed to developing creative solutions and delivering the highest standard of service to clients. This commitment has been the driving force behind our expansion and ensured that The Hello Foundation is the place smart and capable people want to work.
“Although the telehealth market is predicted to grow 18% annually until 2020, our success isn’t because we use teletherapy in our efforts. Our success stems from valuing our staff.” says Sharon Scheurer, Director of Operations.
“Our numbers speak for themselves. Minimal turnover, high retention, revenue growth year after year . . . regardless of a near virtual environment, we have successfully grown a culture of trust and collaborative professionalism.”
The award is the result of a rigorous assessment. Worksites must first qualify by ranking in the top 20 percent of the country based on a nationally representative sample of employers. Two-thirds of the evaluation of applicants comes from an employee survey.
