Spend Radar Named Runner-Up for a Corporate United Collaboration Award

Awards honor extraordinary collaboration with internal functional groups and/or external suppliers

Spend Radar is pleased to announce they have been selected as a runner up for a prestigious Corporate United Collaboration award. Winners and runners-up were announced during a special ceremony at Corporate United's tenth annual SYNERGY spend management conference held in Chicago. The formal announcement was made by Corporate United Vice President David Clevenger. Also in attendance for the award presentation were two of the collaboration awards judges - Jason Busch, Founder and Managing Director of Azul Partners and Editor of Spend Matters, and Tim Cummins, CEO of IACCM.

Corporate United's Collaboration Awards fall into three categories: internal collaboration (for partnering with another functional department), external collaboration with a supplier/vendor (partnering with a supplier/vendor, leading to superior collaboration) and internal and external collaboration (both an internal and an external partnership to drive category results). Spend Radar submitted a case study for the internal and external collaboration category.

The Corporate United Collaboration Awards have been established to honor procurement, sourcing, supply chain and other related departments that have demonstrated extraordinary collaboration with internal functional groups and/or external suppliers. "As a spend management software provider, we are acutely aware of the challenges and complexities involved when collaborating with suppliers," said Brian Daniels, CEO and cofounder of Spend Radar. "We implement best practices not only for our customers, but internally as well and relished the opportunity to submit a case study detailing our experiences. It is an honor to have been named as a runner-up."
