Local moving and storage leader supports tornado victims by offering moving and storage containers.

(Springfield, Mo.) - When AT&T reached out to the Southwest Missouri area PODS® for support, the local franchise immediately reacted and was compelled to assist. The bright white and red PODS® containers are often seen at disaster sites, providing much needed storage for affected victims.

On May 22, disaster struck, destroying the homes of many AT&T employees in Joplin. As the owner of the Springfield area PODS moving and storage franchise, Brian Cates stepped up to offer PODS® storage containers to AT&T employees so they could store and move belongings while they are displaced from their homes.

"We are very thankful for the generous donation of the use of the PODS® containers, and appreciate the service they provide in helping some of our employees rebuild their lives," said Justin Kamplain, acting area manager of AT&T small business end user care.

"The use of PODS® containers to help with relief efforts is our way of giving back," Cates said. "I am honored to contribute and hopeful that our donations helps get the families who lost so much back on their feet."
