Since re-opening the sales center and holding marketing events, the community has enjoyed remarkable success.
“When our community originally started pre-sale marketing several years ago, more than 300 seniors made a priority deposit,” said David Ammons, founder of SpringShire and President of Retirement Living Associates, Inc. “Now that we are re-launching our operations we have been pleased to see a large return of those original members, and a significant pent up demand from retirees for a new retirement living community in Eastern North Carolina.”
SpringShire will consist of 150 independent living apartment homes, 12 independent cottages, an 8-bed assisted living unit and a 12-bed skilled nursing unit. The community will be situated on 127 acres of land located off of Highway 43 between 264 Bypass and Ironwood Country Club in Pitt County. The community will be overseen by a voluntary Board of Directors, and managed by Retirement Living Associates, Inc., a senior living services firm headquartered in Raleigh.
