Stan Soloway Launches Celero Strategies
Washington, D.C., February 8, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Stan Soloway, longtime CEO of the Professional Services Council, has launched Celero Strategies, LLC. Widely regarded as one of the industry's most influential and knowledgeable leaders and known for his incisive analyses, Soloway has formed Celero Strategies to assist companies in, or wishing to enter, the federal market, accelerate their growth and enhance their position. “This market is undergoing massive changes,” says Soloway. “And Celero will be focused on helping companies adapt to and succeed in this new environment.”
“At Celero, we bring insight borne of experience in both government and industry, as thought leaders and as drivers of change. We put that experience to work for our clients,” says Soloway. “We have also built a unique team that will enable us to offer the full array of strategic and growth consulting, market analysis and positioning, organizational development and fitness, M&A support, crisis communications, and more.”
“Celero, is Latin for accelerate,” he said. “And that’s precisely what we aim to do; help our clients accelerate.”
Soloway served as PSC’s President and CEO for 15 years, before stepping down at the end of 2015. During that time PSC grew more than 300% and became the most effective and influential organization of its kind. Soloway has frequently been called on by both Congress and the executive branch to provide analysis and policy recommendations, and writes monthly columns for Government Executive and Washington Technology.
He was the recipient of the 2016 CES Government Technology Leadership Award; the 2013 IT Industry Executive of the Year Award (Government Computer News); the 2013 Roback Memorial Award (National Contract Management Assn.), and is a two time recipient of the Fed 100 Award (1105 Media and Federal Computer Week). He has been repeatedly named as one of the 100 most influential business leaders in Washington, DC (Washington Business Journal) and one of the 100 most influential leaders in U.S. Defense (Defense News/Gannett).
Prior to taking over PSC in 2001, Soloway served as the Deputy Undersecretary of Defense, with wide-ranging responsibilities for reform of the defense acquisition process and the re-engineering of a range of DoD's broader business operations.
