Stand Up And Help Tackle Cancer With AndrosForm, Carie Small & Su2c!

Thousands of people die every day from cancer, which is the second deadliest disease in the world, according to the American Cancer Society.

More research needs to be done to find a cure for the 100 different types of diseases that we categorize as cancer. In today's shaky economy, more and more people are going without health coverage, increasing the mortality rate of cancer, which needs to be diagnosed in the early stages so a person can receive proper treatment. For these reasons, and to support the ongoing efforts in cancer research, a newly-launched men's fitness and lifestyle blog called androsForm has decided to sponsor an awareness giveaway starting on Nov. 7, 2011.

For every entry that androsForm receives, 10 cents will be donated to Stand Up To Cancer. Stand Up To Cancer was launched in 2008 as a cancer initiative group that brings together patients, doctors, advocates and lawmakers in collaborative research efforts in the hopes to find new treatments and cures for cancer. Through ongoing fundraising efforts, Stand Up To Cancer and generous donators have already given over $80 million toward cancer research.

The AndrosForm giveaway contest will begin on Nov. 7, 2011 at 8 p.m. EST and end on Nov. 10, 2011 at 12 p.m. EST. From the available entries, five winners will be chosen to receive a Carie Small "Tackle Cancer" T-shirt.

Carie Small was nominated as "All Fantasy Player" of the 2010 Lingerie Football League. Carie has a special interest when it comes to the fight against cancer and the ongoing efforts of cancer research. As a cancer survivor herself, she has a fiery passion to literally "tackle" cancer in every form it takes until a cure is found.

To ensure the correct amount of proceeds are dedicated to cancer research, a third-party hosting service provided by 63squares will monitor the number of entries into the contest. From the final data gathered at the end of the contest on November 10th at 12 p.m. EST, androsForm will dedicate the appropriate amount to Stand Up To Cancer.

Every cent given to cancer research means new treatments can be discovered for our friends and family who must deal with the effects of this deadly disease. It means that one more person will have a chance to survive cancer.
