Motown is back in town. The 6th annual charity fundraiser Gary Martin Presents Motown & More is here June 15th, 2011 at the Jack Singer Concert Hall.

The Legendary Funk Brothers will perform the music they created that originally made Motown the greatest hit machine in music history. Any of these songs ring a bell?... "Please Mr Postman", "My Guy", "Stop! In the Name of Love"? Yes, these are just a few of the memorable songs The Funk Brothers, the originators of Motown sound will perform, and you have the chance to be a part of this amazing experience at this benefit concert.

Performers like Eddie Willis, the longest performing member of the Funk Brothers has played on almost all the 1000 plus hits at Motown. The tracks laid down by this band of musicians were incredible timeless classics - the dance floors of the world didn't stand a chance. Many more performers like Eddie Willis to perform on the 15th.

You can help make this event a tremendous success on several levels, as proceeds for this event will help support Youville Recovery Residence for women & the Isshin Institute.

- Youville Recovery Residence for Women has a mission to operate residential recovery facilities for women who experience the co-occurring issues of addiction, mental health distress and a history of abuse.
- Isshin Institute is a think tank group focused on issues which communities are dealing with; to do research, setting models, and sharing them widely.

These musicians created a cultural tidal wave. So come join us for a night of true soul, heart and groove, as we give back to the community.
