Start-Ups Have a New Venue in Columbus to Make Their Businesses Happen with SunDown RunDown
A new evening business pitch event that connects entrepreneurs with investors, mentors, and talent.
Online, June 8, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Central Ohio is full of great entrepreneurial talent, but many of these entrepreneurs don't have the connections to take their businesses to the next step. This is where SunDown RunDown comes in to help out. We host a monthly evening business idea pitch event to give entrepreneurs a chance to share their ideas and make connections with investors, mentors and talent. Entrepreneurs get 5 minutes to pitch and 5 minutes of feedback from the audience. All types of business ideas are welcomed to come and pitch. We've had high tech software ideas to restaurants to athletic equipment start-ups all come and pitch their ideas and we welcome more types of start-ups to attend.
SunDown RunDown is 100% independent from any Incubator, Business, Venture Capital Fund or University and relies on a true community focus to stay funded by "passing the hat" at the end of the night to cover rental of the venues for the events. We also have a small team of dedicated volunteers to make these events happen on the last Friday of every month.
We want to grow the entrepreneurial community in Central Ohio and we need your support by coming to our events and sending in your pitch ideas so we can have a full audience and a full agenda of great businesses pitching their ideas.
Our next event is on June 28th at 6:00pm at the Varsity Club on Lane Ave in Columbus, OH. More details on how to register for the event or submit your pitch can be found at http://sundownrundown.org
