StatClash Makes Online Fantasy Sports a Daily Affair

Metro Detroit Firm Launches Daily Fantasy Sports Startup This Week

Michigan-based startup StatClash, Inc. announced today that it has launched its online fantasy sports website www.statclash.com to the public. The new site provides users with options to play games in five different sports, including baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer and football. With four of these sports currently in-season, StatClash offers its users a wide variety of choices from the onset.

Focusing on expanding daily fantasy sports outreach, StatClash is the first website of its type to offer fantasy soccer to its users. This aspect will help attract new players to the industry and could eventually allow StatClash to enter markets outside of the US and Canada, where soccer maintains an immense following.

"StatClash was created for fantasy sports players, by fantasy sports players", said StatClash Inc, CEO Anoop Patel. "Our focus is not only in delivering great fantasy sports games, but also creating a great fantasy sports experience."

With over 35 million people in the USA and Canada playing online fantasy sports, it has grown to become a billion dollar industry. The 'daily fantasy sports' model is a relatively new segment of the market, which has seen double-digit growth each of the past five years. This growth is best attributed to the 'short-term / no-commitment' aspect that StatClash plans to capitalize on to help bring daily fantasy sports into the mainstream.

This sentiment is echoed by StatClash Co-Founder John Pelak, who affirms "Daily fantasy is the future of fantasy sports. It's much more convenient for your casual sports fan and provides a level of fun and excitement that your traditional fantasy model just can't match".

StatClash will be commemorating the launch of their new website throughout the month of April, with giveaways, special promotions, free contests and more. Moving forward, StatClash plans on expanding upon its integrated sports news, internal content creation and even developing a mobile version for users on the go.
