Staymobile Plugs-in to College Campuses to Help Students Stay Connected

Mobile Device Repair Service Eases the Burden of Technology Issues on Campus

According to a recent survey by VitalSource Technology and Wakefield Research, 48 percent of college students say their learning is enhanced by technology that helps them collaborate digitally with students from their classes, or from other schools. To help foster this collaboration and ensure students and faculty maintain connectivity, Staymobile®, a service company providing electronic repair, accessories and protection for businesses and consumers, announces its rapid college and university store expansion with 13 openings in 2016 and plans to open an additional 100 locations in the next 2 years.

Through its partnerships with independent college bookstores and those operated by Barnes & Noble and Follett, Staymobile has expanded onto the campuses of the University of North Carolina Greensboro, Utah Valley University, University of Utah, Elon University, University of Southern Illinois Carbondale and Clemson University. Additional openings are planned for the 2016 – 2017 school year at the University of Arizona, UCLA, Oregon State and the University of Cincinatti, among others.

"Faculty, staff and students' dependence on their devices coupled with the long days spent on campus have been the primary drivers of the success Staymobile has seen with its higher education expansion strategy. The company's high quality products and fast services provide its collegiate customers the resources to excel both inside and outside the classroom."

Chuck Morrison, President and CMO

Staymobile offers students and faculty on-site repair of all mobile devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, game consoles and additional electronic devices. Its certified in-store technicians are highly qualified to repair various issues, including water damage, cracked screens and dead batteries, with same-day turnaround on most services, many within one hour. Additionally, all repair services are backed by the industry leading Staymobile Lifetime Warranty.

“Today, technology is an integral part of the college experience. Any lapse in communication presents stress that is not welcome during the busy school year,” says Chuck Morrison, president and chief marketing officer of Staymobile. “Faculty, staff and students’ dependence on their devices coupled with the long days spent on campus have been the primary drivers of the success Staymobile has seen with its higher education expansion strategy. The company’s high quality products and fast services provide its collegiate customers the resources to excel both inside and outside the classroom.”

Staymobile’s operation delivers an exceptional customer experience while meeting some of the unique opportunities in colleges and universities. The company’s compact design, which maximizes every last square inch of space, allows Staymobile to fit into virtually any size or space. In fact, the company can open locations in as little as 150 square feet.
