LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, July 25, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Storkcraft Manufacturing Inc. has donated nearly 300 convertible cribs and 300 crib mattresses with crib bedding to charity organization Baby2Baby in an effort to provide families in need with a safe sleep solution for their children.
“We believe every child should have a safe place to sleep and are extremely honored to be able to do our part in the community,” says Adam Segal, CEO of Storkcraft. “Storkcraft is very excited about our new partnership with Baby2Baby and we look forward to many more donations in kind as a new sponsor of Baby2Baby’s Sweet Dreams initiative.”
Infants are dying every day from unsafe sleep environments, so we are so grateful for Storkcraft's generous donation to help us combat this tragic situation.

Almost 600 cribs, mattresses and bedding (a combined retail value of $70,000) will be donated and dispersed to low-income children in Los Angeles.
Baby2Baby provides low-income children ages 0-12 with diapers, clothing and all the basic necessities that every child deserves. This year, Baby2Baby will serve over 150,000 children in Los Angeles and thousands more through the Baby2Baby National Network. In the last 6 years, Baby2Baby has distributed more than 27 million items including over 13 million diapers.
In 2014, Baby2Baby launched a Sweet Dreams initiative to provide a crib, bassinet or play yard to every child in the program who needs a safe place to sleep. Over the past 3 years, 100% of the safe sleep requests in the program have been met.
"Safe sleep has always been a priority at Baby2Baby," says Baby2Baby Co-Presidents Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein. "We launched the Sweet Dreams initiative to ensure that we meet 100% of the requests we receive for the low-income children in our program. Infants are dying every day from unsafe sleep environments, so we are so grateful for Storkcraft's generous donation to help us combat this tragic situation."
