Straightpoint, Inc. Opens in U.S. to Offer Load Monitoring Technology

Online, December 8, 2009 (Newswire.com) - Ventura, CA - Straightpoint (UK) Ltd., the load monitoring and crane scale manufacturer, has seen its export sales double from 25 to 50 percent over the past six years. To further support its Western Hemisphere business, Straightpoint has set up an additional office, Straightpoint, Inc., in California.

The new U.S. office will offer distribution, calibration and testing of the entire range of Straightpoint industrial-weighing and load-monitoring products supplied and manufactured at the UK facility. The primary focus will be on the oil, gas, aerospace and shipping industries, plus other business sectors requiring heavy load-monitoring equipment. The first of a number of planned regional distribution companies is in Texas.
