Erotic fitness classes are a trend that's becoming more mainstream. Chances are your local fitness center offers classes with seductive elements like chair dancing, strip poles, and boas. One fitness expert is non to please with what he classifies as a gimmick and has started his own fitness program to counter their popularity. "That's not real fitness," exclaimed Vladimir Massillon, owner of the newly launched women's program called Sexy City Bootcamp. "That's stripping masquerading as fitness." To be fair, he continues, it does incorporate a level of fitness in terms of getting the body moving but "a former stripper is not a fitness instructor."
Vladimir launched Sexy City Bootcamp to fill what he felt was a void in womens fitness. "Real fitness, for real women, taught by real experts" he explained. "I'm sure those classes are fun," he admits "but a woman is not going to get the kind of rigorous fitness and guidance she'll need to truly change her body by dancing with boas. That's why I started Sexy City Bootcamp. I want to truly help women reach their fitness goals, not just have them pay me for a gimmick."
Sexy City Bootcamp is located at 939 W Ranolph St and launches Dec 14. "I encourage women to come check us out and really experience the difference between fitness and whatever those classes are. Come by for a free week trial, and I guarantee that you'll retire your stripper shoes" says Vladimir.
