Stuart Selbst Consulting Announces SMB Power Teams.
The MSP Coaching and Business development has created virtual peer groups for sub-500k revenue firms.
Online, April 3, 2011 (Newswire.com) - MSP business coaching and development firm, Stuart Selbst Consulting has created the SMB Power Teams. The Power Teams are virtual peer groups consisting of up to 6 business owners of IT firms whose company revenues are under 500k annually.
"I am very excited about my company starting these power teams" says Stuart Selbst, President of Stuart Selbst Consulting. I believe that we have needed smaller, vendor neutral groups like this in our industry for a long time. Our belief is that the larger peer groups are intimidating for the smaller 1 - 5 person firms". The groups will be called Power Teams not only because they will be working together to help one another, but a team is only as strong as its weakest player. I don't expect any member of any of the teams to be weak.
Selbst goes on to add, "The teams will each meet virtually through a video conference once a month. The teams will work together to overcome obstacles in their businesses. My expectation is that each and every member of will bring an expertise to help the others on their team. Members will be expected to reach out to their team to ask for advice during difficult times. In addition to the virtual meetings, the Power Teams will meet twice a year for team building and training. The face to face meetings will be in March at our annual Spring Training for Business event and our fall partner Sales and Marketing meeting in conjunction with Stuart Crawford and Ulistic".
One more very exciting part of the Power Teams is that we have joined forces with SMB Technology Network™ (SMBTN), an association of IT service providers who specialize in small-to-medium sized businesses. "We have always wanted to offer peer groups to our membership," said Jim Locke, the organization's president. "Unfortunately, we found that most existing groups were really not designed for smaller IT service providers who were still growing their businesses. Stuart's concept of smaller Power Teams made up of business owners that are facing similar issues is exactly what we have been looking for. In short, I think they will be tremendously successful."
"Many VARs and MSP who have contacted me about taking part in the group, says Selbst. We are now taking applications for those who want to be part of a Power Team'. You can register on the Stuart Selbst Consulting website.
