Style Fashion Week Bringing Fashion Back to Los Angeles
Making a fierce return to Los Angeles the newest and most ambitious fashion week will exhibit this season's emerging progressive, and established men's and women's collections
Online, February 21, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Fashion week will make a fierce return to Los Angeles this Spring with a four-day flourish of runway shows at the newly renovated downtown Vibiana. The former Cathedral's baroque-inspired 35,000 square feet of luxurious space will host Style Fashion Week March 15th-18th.
The newest and most ambitious fashion week to hit L.A. will exhibit this season's emerging, progressive, and established men's and women's collections to the media, celebrities, tastemakers, and national and international buyers. Style Fashion Week's intelligent and innovative platform will showcase celebrity hosts, art installations, live music, and gift bags to compliment the runway shows. Fendi Casa will and Kenzo Home will showcase interior design elements in the Style Fashion Week VIP lounge within the Vibiana, and will also host a media check-in reception at their showroom on Monday the 14th.
In support of the American Heart Association, The Go Red For Women Celebrity Fashion Show will be held for the first time in L.A. Thursday, March 17th. Celebrities will walk the runway wearing red in support of the charitble organization. The Go Red For Women Fashion Show, which has been featured in past Fashions Weeks held in New York and Miami, unites supporters of art, fashion, and health to bring attention to Heart Disease and Women. A $25 entrance fee will be charged and all proceeds from the star-filled show will be given to the American Heart Association.
The Runway Shows will be held at Vibiana beginning at 7 p.m. VIP lounge areas are also available from 5 p.m. until midnight.
