Submission Dates Announced for Big Bear Horro-Fi Film Festival

Big Bear Horro-Fi Film Festival Announces Submission Dates that begin February 1st, 2011

The Big Bear Horro-Fi Film Festival will be accepting submissions for its third annual festival. Submission season opens February 1st 2011. The festival will accept features, shorts, and animated movies in both Horror and Sci-Fi (including fantasy.)

"Now that we are including science fiction this year, I challenge the filmmakers to submit their original horror and sci-fi films," says Chris Gaida, Director of Programming. "Since it's our third year and with the inclusion of Sci-Fi I am confident that we will have our best festival yet."

This year's festival will also highlight student filmmakers with a student filmmaker category including a student filmmaker award. "We want to emphasize the future filmmakers in this year's program," Festival Director Jamie Kristen said. "It's our goal to create a space where they can learn, engage, discuss, and grow."

Features/Animated Films Early Bird $35 / Regular $45
Shorts/Student Films Early Bird $20 / Regular $30

Early Bird Deadline: May 15, 2011
Regular Deadline: July 1, 2011
