Successful Writer And Publisher Sean Platt Releases Four Seasons, A Novel About How Seemingly Unconnected Lives Intertwine
Online, April 19, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Successful writer and publisher Sean Platt has released Four Seasons, his first novel. The novel is the first work published under the Collective Inkwell Imprint. Four Seasons chronicles the lives of its apparently separate characters over the course of a year and shows how they are actually entwined.
Four Seasons began as a creative experiment conducted by author Sean Platt on his blog, "Writer Dad." Each month he would tell a separate story, and then connect them all by the end of the year. While he did not intend on creating a book, the end result was so satisfying that Mr. Platt decided to publish Four Seasons as a novel.
Four Seasons contains characters as diverse as their stories. There is a couple racing to deliver their first child, even though it seems as though the world is against them. There is a dying man who hopes to have his last wish granted. There is a woman experiencing the brutal end to an unbelievable streak of luck.
Each chapter of the novel is named after the month in which it was written and tells a story about one of the novel's varied characters. Mr. Platt has always been a fan of stories about people's lives, and wanted to create a work which told many such stories.
According to author Sean Platt, "I've always enjoyed books about life- stories about people (real and imagined) going through the things that tear us apart and bring us together. The things which wall us in or inspire us to greatness. These are the stories I love to read, and with Four Seasons, the kind of story I aimed to tell."
Sean Platt decided to publish Four Seasons on the Collective Inkwell imprint, a company he founded with fellow writer, David Wright. The novel is available in both print and Kindle formats through Amazon.com. More information and sample chapters can be found at http://fourseasonsbook.com/.
