Suitcase.com Fourth Annual Travel Survey Focuses on Air Travel, Offers $500 Suitcase As Incentive

Suitcase.com today announces its fourth annual survey on travel behavior.

Suitcase.com today announces its fourth annual survey on travel behavior. This year's 2013 survey focuses on airline travelers' baggage requirements, and examines subjects including baggage fees, carry-on bags, security, and the amount of luggage travelers wish to take on a typical journey.

"We are seeing constant changes in the way people travel, and it's important to understand how travelers are adjusting to these," said John Ebb of Bretts Luggage and Gifts, owner of Suitcase.com. "Shifting TSA regulations and changes to airline policies on cabin baggage are just two aspects of what's affecting travelers. We're also seeing innovative changes such as Samoa Air pricing tickets by the weight of both travelers and luggage, as well as many more airlines charging extra fees for luggage. As small lightweight tablets replace bulky laptops, the need for executive travelers to carry a separate laptop bag is reduced. All these things mean that travelers have to think differently about what they take with them and how they transport their belongings cost-effectively and safely. This survey will help airlines and other companies in the travel industry better understand how to meet the needs of their customers."

The survey will be conducted online between April 17th 2013 and April 30th 2013. Results will be announced in May 19th 2013.

As an incentive to travelers to participate, the company is offering a luxury suitcase worth $500 to one respondent selected at random. The Delsey Helium Ultimate Carry-On Expandable Spinner Suiter Trolley is built to be durable long-lasting and comes with a lifetime warranty. For added security, it has a TSA-approved combination lock and integrated privacy ID tag.
