Summer Lunch & Learn Series for CEOs and Business Owners Carter's Biz Café, Benicia, CA Kickoff Thursday, July 13, 2017

Benicia, California, July 12, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Carter’s Biz Café is the proud host of the Summer Lunch and Learn Series for CEOs and Business Owners with its kickoff workshop this coming Thursday, July 13, 2017.  This free educational series of “Lunch and Learn” workshops is for the busy C-Level Executive and/or Business Owner with a minimum of five employees.  Located at the Commandant’s Mansion at 1 Commandant’s Lane in Benicia’s historic Benicia Arsenal with plenty of available parking, each workshop will be presented the second Thursday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and the series will run through September 21, 2017.  Bring a sack lunch, bring a colleague, and be prepared to learn something new for better business!

This week’s topic is “You will be Sued! Protecting your Company from Lawsuits.”  This event is a great opportunity to learn important proactive strategies to protect oneself and one’s company and business.  “Whether one is a small manufacturer, a distribution company, whether located in an industrial park or on Main Street, this luncheon series is for you,” says Carter Rankin, co-founder of Carter’s Biz Café.  There will be no solicitations, no hard sales, just great information among peers.

Following are the workshop dates and topics:

• July 13:  You will be Sued! Protecting your Company from Lawsuits.  How to prevent as well as deal with intellectual property, copyright issues, discrimination suits.

• July 27:  Succession and Retirement Planning.  Preparing the way to transition “your” company to family members, partners, and/or employees.  Devising a system to transfer knowledge and key information from retiring employees.

• August 10 – September 21:  Topics to be determined.
