A recent survey by Suncorp Life found 49 percent of Australians don't understand the nation's super policy, and 30 percent of don't believe their super is even their own money. "Annual changes to the superannuation system are also a constant and frustrating occurrence. That's why it's vital for the Government to get it right this time," Carter explains in the article.
Carter suggests that making the system more transparent is critical to it success, as well as securing tighter regulation of fees charged and a new code of governance.
