Writting has been a passion for Angela for years which readily shows in her poetry writting. One feels the love and pain of a relationship in each verse and comes to feel that they are not alone in a love gone wrong. Dr. Spencer grew up in Hungary, but has lived most of her adult life in the United States, residing in Florida since 2001. Dr. Spencer completed her residency and fellowship training in Cerebrovascular Diseases at the Cleveland Clinic Florida in 2006,where she was also awarded Resident of the Year in 2005-06.
Dr. Spencer was in the medical field for 18 years before graduating medical school in 2001. In addition to stroke care, Dr. Spencer specializes in many areas of Neurology, including Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's Disease, Headaches, and various neuropathies.
Angela S. Spencer, M.D., the Clinic's most recent addition, joined the practice January 2010 as our In-Patient Neurological Consultant, as well as the TMH Medical Staff Stroke Director, working closely with the Memory Disorder Clinic. In addition, Dr. Spencer will serve as the HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital Stroke Program Director.
The neurological services provided by the physicians at TNC include complete neurological evaluation and treatment, Independent Medical Exams (IMEs), EMG/nerve conduction velocity studies, EEG (including 24-hour EEG) services, therapeutic BOTOX® injections, and clinical research studies.
