Sunset "Happiness" Run for Charity in Milan
Bring happiness to those in need by joining in the Parco Nord Sunset 7K or the 1.5K fun run for kids June 9 in Milan. Proceeds support a nonprofit organization that brings the healing power of laughter to those in need.
Milan, Italy, June 6, 2016 (Newswire.com) - A 7K race through Parco Nord and 1.5K fun run for kids in Milan June 9 will raise funds for a local charity known as “Volontari con il Naso Rosso”—the Red-Nosed Volunteers —a nonprofit organization whose members dress as clowns to visit hospitalized children, the elderly and others in need of the healing that laughter brings.
Unlike most races that take place early in the morning, this is a sunset competition. Beginning at 6p.m., Runners will meet at the LA42 Run Station sporting goods store on Avenue Suzzani and the race gets underway at 7:30p.m. at the Avenue Suzzani entrance of Parco Nord.
After the race, runners and their fans are invited to a pasta party in the courtyard of the Church of Scientology Milan. The € 5.00 race entrance fee also covers the cost of the dinner.
The race has been organized by LA42, Parco Nord, the Civil Protection Volunteers of the Church of Scientology (PROCIVICUS), and the Milan chapter of The Way to Happiness Foundation.
