Super Producer "Cavie" Is Called Upon To Produce Cee Lo's New Solo Album
World renown engineer is staying busy with platinum artists in the studio
Online, November 2, 2011 (Newswire.com) - His name is Kannon "Caviar" Kross, you might not have heard of him, but chances are that if you've ever listened to Eazy-E, Macy Gray, or T.I. you've heard his work. Cavie (as he's better known) has been producing music since he was 12 years old, with a little known group at the time called N.W.A.. Soon after, the group blew up and so did Cavie. He has traveled around the world producing music for the biggest names in hip-hop, so it was no surprise when he got the call to produce Cee Lo Green's new solo album.
"I've known Cee Lo for a long time." says Cavie, "His music is unique and he has so much talent. The way he connects with these beats is like nothing I've ever seen before."
This project is not the only album on Cavie's plate. He recently agreed to work with Teddy Riley and another album for Macy Gray, and he's also crafting hits for the comeback albums of Goodie Mob, T.I. and DMX.
All of Cavie's work is done at his newly remodeled Vault Studios just off the sunset strip in the heart of Hollywood, CA.
About Cavie
Growing up in South Compton, Cavie witnessed the genesis of the gangsta rap movement firsthand. At 12 years old Cavie was blessed to be mentored by Eazy-E and DJ Train and had a chance to see legendary artists at their craft. After Eazy showed him the power of music, Cavie quit gangbanging and focused on music full time. His producing credits include some of the biggest names in the industry, and as an artist, his music has been used in national commercials, blockbuster movies, international sports promos, and top selling video games.
