Superior Rigging & Erecting Co. Supports Diabetes Prevention With 5k Benefitting Research

Orlando, FL, August 1, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Superior Rigging & Erecting, with locations in Atlanta and Orlando, supports diabetes research and awareness and will participate in the annual OUC Orlando Half Marathon and Track Shack Lake Eola 5K. The races will begin at 7:30 a.m. on December 2. The annual event follows a picturesque track through downtown Orlando and starts, and finishes, at Lake Eola Park.

The Superior Rigging & Erecting team is participating in the event to raise funds for the prevention and cure of diabetes. The team would like to invite the community to participate in the event or to donate to the team; benefitting diabetes research and prevention.

Diabetes is a prolific disease which impacts millions of lives. In 2012, 29.1 million Americans, or 9.3 percent of the population, were reported to have diabetes, according to the American Diabetes Association (ADA).
