Superman Casting Pushes Forward With New Names In The Mix

The Last Son Of Krypton Has Its Latest Actor Under Consideration

A new name has been thrown into the mix. With director Zack Snyder attached and Christopher Nolan on board as producer, the mysteries on casting continue to swirl. The process has indeed begun to grab the new Man of Steel, but where are the powers that may be aligning? It was earlier reported that a "wide net" has been cast in the search, which will likely see hundreds of candidates to audition for the role of the Last Son of Krypton. It has been indicated that this Man of Steel will be an unknown, but who will be following in the footsteps of the late Christopher Reeves?

Various reports have speculated that Joe Manganiello, who's best known for werewolf Alcide on True Blood, is a front-runner. Other names such as Ian Somerhalder and Armie Hammer have been thrown into the mix. However the latest name to show up on message boards and across the "Digital Globalsphere" is Michael AvMen. According to sources, AvMen has hired a personal trainer and has been on a strict diet for the past month in order to take on the role of The Man of Steel. AvMen has recently been directly associated with the production.

AvMen is gearing up for what appears to be a huge 2011. The Superman hopeful is preparing for the March release of his latest Hollywood Blockbusters Battle: Los Angeles and Straw Dogs. AvMen will also be appearing in the June release of the much anticipated Green Lantern, starring Ryan Reynolds. For more information please see press contact below.
