Raleigh, N.C. (June 23, 2010) - The Big Bad Ball, the annual black tie fundraiser presented by The Capital City Club's Young Executives is currently accepting donated items for the silent auction and requests for corporate sponsorships. The ninth annual event benefiting Hospice of Wake County will be held October 2nd from 7p.m. - 1a.m. at the Capital City Club.

"Sponsorships are a great way for corporations to get involved in local charities and truly make a difference in the community," said Diane Dennis, Big Bad Ball Co-Chair. "Tickets to these types of events also make great employee recognition rewards and establish companies as community stewards."

There are four sponsorship levels available - Bronze ($1,000), Silver ($2,500), Gold ($5,000) and Platinum ($10,000 and up). All sponsorship levels receive tickets to the event; special recognition in the Big Bad Ball Virtual Program shown on large screen TV's throughout the Ball; and special listing as a donor on www.bigbadball.com as well as Facebook and Twitter. All sponsors are included in the VIP Sponsor Reception and valet parking is provided for each group member.

Silver and Gold level sponsors also receive a half-page ad in the Big Bad Ball virtual program, while Platinum sponsors receive a full-page.

In addition to all the benefits mentioned above, Platinum level sponsors receive a one night stay at a downtown Raleigh hotel the night of the Ball for each couple in their group.

Tickets for the Big Bad Ball can also be purchased individually for $125 each. All guests can enjoy five open bars; scrumptious food selections including hors d'oeuvres, pasta and carving stations, desserts and a late night breakfast. Dance the night away to two bands playing everything from swing to contemporary. Attendees also get a chance to participate in a silent auction, a Fink's Jewelers door prize and a raffle for a $10,000 cash prize. Proceeds from the Big Bad Ball support the Hospice of Wake County Indigent Patient Fund and the Family Grief Center.
