Swagg Media Films Monster Products Michael Jackson Tribute as Virtual Reality at CES
Los Angeles California, January 20, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Swagg Media has challenged the idea that viewing a concert from home has to be a flat experience with its recent filming of Monster’s Michael Jackson tribute at CES by filming the concert as a virtual reality. Virtual reality allows the viewer to watch the concert in full 360-degree views, so that much of what is lost on a typical television screen is retained in later viewings of the concert. Using Nokia Ozo cameras, Swagg Media captured the concert experience in an innovative new way. Swagg Media is currently working on a fully functional VR video platform on which this concert and other VR video content should be available by summer 2016. According to President Craig Nobles, “virtual reality is the future and the future is now. Virtual reality is the future of content creation and distribution; virtual reality is the future of the way you capture and view your content. We at Swagg Media are at the same crossroads that High Definition was at its inception and we all know how that turned out.” Swagg Media looks forward to shooting many more projects in VR globally. Future projects include the Rio Olympics, Thailand Tourism, and the upcoming Michael Jackson tribute in China.”
