Discovery News reported that you just need to put a wheeled chassis on a smart phone or iPod touch that allows for using the device as the 'brain'. Controls can be downloaded as apps, since they are contained entirely within the phone.
We can add new physical qualifications to Romo, such as a scoop or a claw. To our surprise, the robot can be linked with several brands of smart phone.

Swampy, the alligator has googly eyes likes to lie around around in his subterranean bathtub while he scrubs his back with a brush. According to a recent survey of 1,384 parents by Common Sense Media Inc., about 52% of kids 8 and younger have used a mobile device for games and other activities.
