Systech International, a global leader in brand protection technologies, has appointed Mark Quinlan senior vice president of sales.  Quinlan will lead a newly restructured and expanded global sales team.

“Mark is a great fit for our rapidly expanding organization,” said Robert DeJean, CEO, Systech.  “He’s aggressive, driven and has the vision and experience we need to outpace the competition and amplify our position as the global industry leader.”

In 2014, the company experienced significant double-digit growth and a record number of new customer contracts. This year is also shaping up to be a high growth year due to expanded demand for its supply chain solutions that address the needs of enterprise serialization, track and trace, authentication and anti-counterfeiting.

DeJean noted that Quinlan will be focusing on the company’s global market expansion in key regions such as the US, Europe, Latin America and Asia, where the company has a strong and growing base of business, primarily in the life sciences space.  Systech currently has a significant number of pharmaceutical companies relying on its products and solutions to protect their brands and ensuring Systech’s distribution channel is optimized to serve these markets.

Moreover, Quinlan will be driving accelerated global growth and leading expansion into new markets that have a strong need for the company’s anti-counterfeiting solutions.

“Mark’s extensive experience in launching new products, global sales and marketing and executive sales leadership make him a strong asset for our strategic global sales initiative,” noted DeJean.

Quinlan comes to Systech from Technicote, Inc., a $100+ million manufacturer of pressure sensitive label material for the Label converting industry in the Americas. Prior to that, he worked with Esko Graphics Inc., a $300 million global leader in software and hardware solutions for the packaging industry.

“I’m excited at the possibilities here at Systech,” said Quinlan.  “The company not only invented the serialization marketplace, it is now redefining the space with the next iteration of brand protection products for the 21st Century. I can’t think of a better, more exciting time to be part of the industry and this company in particular.”
