Though this is not the first time T-Mobile has come up with the proposal, for its RIM BlackBerry devices have Yahoo, the default search engine. The reason behind the facility is to give better services to the users and to make web browsing lot easier on the mobile phones. The news further states that Google and T-Mobile are all set to come together in Nexus One, the first Android phone from Google.

Moreover, Yahoo has also confirmed the expiry of its search component with T-Mobile which was responsible for the foundation of T-Mobile's Web2Go service. But the employment of Google search engine does not mean the end of two's collaboration. According to a Yahoo spokesperson, the two companies have agreed to work together in the future. He emphasized on the fact that the two will work together on Yahoo Mail and Yahoo Messenger and on content services such as the "prominent placement of Yahoo News, Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Finance, Flickr and weather" on T-Mobile's Web2Go portal.

With more than 80 carrier partnerships for our award-winning mobile search experience, including the recently announced partnerships with O2 in Germany and Chunghwa Telecom in Taiwan, we are displacing our largest search competitor as the trusted partner of choice". All in all, the tie-ups between T-Mobile and Google as well as between T-Mobile and Yahoo are going to assist users in an efficient manner.
