Take a closer look at Ford's plan to launch five full electric vehicles in Europe by 2013

Ford Motor Company announces its global electric vehicles plan of producing new full electric and hybrid vehicles in their commitment to protecting the environment.

(SAN DIEGO, CA) - Energy Digital Magazine's cover story of the June issue discusses Ford Motor Company's global electric vehicles plan, in which Ford plans to launch five full electric or hybrid electric vehicles in Europe by the year 2013. Ford has announced four out of five of these energy efficient vehicles, which include: the Ford Transit Connect Electric; the Ford Focus Electric; and two versions of the Ford C-MAX-one will be full electric and one will be a plug-in hybrid-electric version.

The cover story is featured in the Manufacturing section of the Energy Digital Magazine June issue. The article touches on the fact that the movement for the production of electric vehicles and hybrid-electric vehicles will reduce the amount of greenhouse gas emissions as well as reduce fossil fuel consumption. In addition to the positive environmental effects of electric vehicles, drivers should expect a huge savings in fuel costs as well.
