Tall Betsy Will Haunt Centenary Avenue Halloween Night
CLEVELAND, Tenn., October 24, 2017 (Newswire.com) - The rumors have been confirmed: Tall Betsy will be haunting Centenary Avenue this Halloween. The official goblin of Cleveland, Tall Betsy is a towering 7 feet 6 1/2 inches tall. She resides in Fort Hill Cemetery and only comes out on Halloween to scare the residents of Cleveland, Tennessee. She is expected to appear at 150 Centenary Avenue at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, Halloween night.
“Some years, we never see Tall Betsy,” said Check Into Cash President Steve Scoggins. “Other years, she escapes the cemetery and roams the town. We expect to see her this year.”
Tall Betsy wanders the town, making sure trick-or-treaters are in bed by 10 p.m. “Everyone should stop by Centenary Avenue and see Tall Betsy for themselves,” said Scoggins. “Just make sure it’s before 10 p.m.”
