Tankless Water Heaters Meet Ultra Low NOx Performance Requirements

Online, December 6, 2011 (Newswire.com) - ATLANTA -Environmentally friendly Ultra Low NOx (nitrogen oxide), gas tankless water heaters that comply with Ultra Low NOx emission standards scheduled for implementation in California next year deliver comfort and cost-efficiency from maker, Rheem Manufacturing.

The Ultra Low NOx water heaters feature a type of gas burner with nitrous-oxide emissions of only 10 nanograms per Joule, meeting the standard for instantaneous water heaters of a NOx limit of just 14 nanograms per Joule of heat output.

In addition, the Rheem RTG-84 and RTG-64 operate at 82 percent thermal efficiency.
