Taylor Emmons Scholarship Fund and All Faiths Food Bank Offer Fresh, Handmade Holiday Wreaths to Benefit Both Organizations

The Taylor Emmons Scholarship Fund announced a partnership with All Faiths Food Bank to sell fresh, handmade holiday wreaths online and at various locations throughout the community.

The Taylor Emmons Scholarship Fund, which provides four-year scholarships to The Out-of-Door Academy for financially challenged students, announced a partnership with All Faiths Food Bank to sell fresh, handmade holiday wreaths online at www.Temmons.org and at a variety of locations throughout Manatee and Sarasota counties. Proceeds from wreath sales will benefit both non-profit organizations.

The Taylor Emmons Scholarship Fund was created in the wake of Taylor's tragic death in 2010 at the young age of 19. As a student at The Out-of-Door Academy, Taylor excelled in academics and sports, and was voted vice president of his senior class, Homecoming King and student with the most school spirit. He also volunteered for All Faiths Food Bank, helping fill backpacks with basic necessities for children in Manatee and Sarasota counties.

The Taylor Emmons Scholarship Fund strives to carry on Taylor's spirit and energy by helping feed the hungry in our community and funding scholarships for students who would not otherwise have the opportunity to attend The Out-of-Door Academy. Using Balsam fir branches fresh-cut from Taylor's Trees, a family-owned farm in Maine, the 22-inch, double-sided, handmade wreaths are adorned with festive red berries, pine cones and a choice of red or burgundy bow.

To order your wreaths, go to www.Temmons.org to order online for delivery anywhere in the continental United States, or stop at one of the following locations, where students from The Out-of-Door Academy will be selling wreaths on weekends throughout the holiday season:
