JELD-WEN of Canada Ltd. is proud that a team it has backed from the beginning of the 2010/2011 season, Jeff Stoughton's Team Canada, has won the Ford World Men's Curling Championship in Regina, SK.

In the often unpredictable world of competitive sport, it is difficult to pick a winner. That's why JELD-WEN of Canada Ltd. is particularly proud that a team it has backed from the beginning of the 2010/2011 season, Jeff Stoughton's Team Canada, has won the Ford World Men's Curling Championship in Regina, SK. After a commanding 10-1 finish in round robin play, Team Stoughton trumped Scotland 6-5 in the final to come out on top.

Representing Canada at the Ford World Men's Curling Championship, the team is comprised of Jeff Stoughton (skip), Jon Mead (third), Reid Carruthers (second) and Steve Gould (lead). It's been an exciting year for the men, having already won the Safeway Championship and the Tim Hortons Brier. Stoughton also won the World Championship in 1996 in Hamilton, ON.

JELD-WEN Windows and Doors is proud to support premier athletes and teams, such as Jeff Stoughton, competing in Canada's most popular winter sports. The company has sponsored curling teams since 2006, including Jennifer Jones and Kerry Burtnyk.

"The whole team has done Canada proud," says Laura Kirk, Marketing Manager for
