SALT LAKE CITY, September 7, 2017 (Newswire.com) - SALT LAKE CITY, September 7, 2017 -Technology start-up Nura is set to make waves with object recognition patents. Nura's focus will be on bringing better interactive experiences to the augmented reality and smart home industries.
The patent cloud has been in development for several years, and the potential applications have garnered the attention of many tech & gaming industry leaders, who have all been impressed with the smarts that the group has demonstrated.
“The ability to fully implement these patents gives us a significant market advantage in the development of interactive and touch environments. We plan on pushing this technology into many different industries, and we anticipate that we become a technology bridge for companies that have historically tried to compete with each other,” said Nura CEO Ross McGarvey. “The ability to interact with any surface, not only as though it were a tablet but, as a 3-dimensional space, presents some incredible use cases and opportunities. We are excited to see where the integration of AI and object recognition tech takes us. I think that this will become an indispensable part of the home and workplace over the next several years.”
Market research website marketsandmarkets.com anticipates the global augmented reality and virtual reality market is to reach USD 151.30 billion by 2022, at a CAGR of 70.41% between 2016 and 2022. Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg stated "We don't need a physical TV. We can buy a $1 app 'TV' and put it on the wall and watch it," Zuckerberg told USA Today ahead of his keynote. "It's actually pretty amazing when you think about how much of the physical stuff we have doesn't need to be physical."
Nura will be launching its first crowdfunding initiative in mid-November where it will unveil its interactive projection technology.
