TechAmerica to Host CFO Forum

Online, June 2, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Dallas, TX - TechAmerica Texas is hosting a CFO Forum for C-level executives and financial managers of technology companies to learn the latest on the Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) enforcement and regulation from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 8 at Le Meridien Dallas North Hotel.

The event will provide a morning of quality networking with peers during breakfast and an enlightening presentation by Regional Director for the Fort Worth District Office of the SEC Rose Romero where she will review key cases, hot topics in enforcement and the SEC's new initiatives and emerging issues.

Romero has an extensive background investigating fraud and financial crimes. Before being appointed regional director for the Fort Worth District Office of the U.S. SEC in 2006, Romero served as an assistant U.S. attorney, a deputy criminal chief, narcotic and violent crimes section, a legal advisor to the U.S. ambassador to Ecuador and a district senior litigation counsel in the U.S. Attorney's Office.

This event is free for TechAmerica members and $40 for non-members. Attendance at TechAmerica CFO Forums is limited to C-level executives and financial managers of technology companies only.
