TechBridge Announces New CEO

James Franklin, Former TechBridge Board Chair, Assumes Role of CEO

TechBridge, an Atlanta-based nonprofit dedicated to helping other nonprofits use technology to do more and serve more people, is pleased to announce that James Franklin has accepted the position of CEO. Mr. Franklin has been a TechBridge Board Member since 2007 and has served as Board Chair since 2010. He will begin transition activities immediately with outgoing CEO, Kathleen Kurre. The company also announces that Sandra Hofmann has been appointed as interim Chair of the TechBridge Board of Directors.

"It is a great honor to further my commitment to TechBridge's mission of making nonprofits more effective through technology," said Mr. Franklin regarding his appointment. "As technology advances, our ability to empower nonprofits continues to expand. I look forward to the opportunity and thank Kathleen for positioning TechBridge and our nonprofit clients for future success."

Mr. Franklin has twenty years of technology management and nonprofit participation and most recently was General Manager for Omnilink Systems, an Atlanta based Software-as-a-Service company. Prior to Omnilink, he served in executive leadership roles at Avanade, Hewlett-Packard, and Extreme Logic, while also founding two start-up companies.

"With the technology needs of our clients growing in criticality and complexity, James' experience as a proven leader with diverse technology companies and his deep involvement with TechBridge make him a perfect fit," said Sig Mosley, President of Imlay Investments and TechBridge Board Member.

Ms. Hofmann has been involved with TechBridge since 2003. She has served as a TechBridge Board Member since 2005 and currently serves as the President of Women in Technology, Inc. "We are extremely grateful to have someone of Sandy's caliber lead the Board in its search for a new Board Chair," said Kevin Campbell, Accenture's Group Chief Executive for Technology and TechBridge Board Member. "Her long list of accomplishments in the technology and nonprofit community make her the ideal person to lead us through this transition."
