Technology Source Offering Virtual Roundtables for Organizations Facing Coronavirus Planning
SANTA ANA, Calif. & FRANKLIN, Tenn., March 26, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Technology Source, a national technology advisory firm, has started a weekly virtual roundtable specifically geared to organizations that are facing challenges in the wake of the coronavirus, chaired by the company’s vice president, Sonya Z. Meline, who runs the meetings from her home in California. Meline also brings top technology executives to the virtual table each week.
Dominic Antonini, founder and President of Technology Source, stated, “It’s been amazing to see how helpful everyone has been during this crisis. Many of the technology providers we work with are offering flexible contracts or even giving away services to anyone impacted. And huge praise to our advisory team all over the United States. They have really stepped up to help customers source the right solutions during this time.”
Meline, who previously served as a chief executive of cloud computing firm Effortless Office, started her career as an IT leader for several mid-sized healthcare companies, including Physicians DataTrust and Center for Sight. In these roles, she implemented extensive pandemic planning and mobility measures - from virtualizing telecommunications infrastructures to eliminating physical hardware, such as servers and computers, to enable both onsite and remote workforces alike.
“Organizations are being thrown into pandemic response, planning without a guidebook and without prior experience,” said Meline. “Facing hardware delays, poor cybersecurity for home workers, imaging computers and laptops that could get lost or stolen leading to data breaches, and lack of accountability and work status communication for users suddenly working at home.
“It can’t just be about what we do right now. Plan for what happens after this is over,” said Meline. “The pandemic's effect will eventually peak, and things will calm down. Then, we will be looking at a new normal. Mobility has always been a core focus for us. With 20 years serving our customers, we know the right technology-buying decisions made now will not only help to propel organizations through this difficult time, they will be stronger and better equipped because of them.”
The firm has committed to providing these one-hour virtual roundtables to business and organization every Tuesday until mid-May and could extend them if the need continues.
