Technology Team Wins Fort Worth Business Plan Competition
Technology Team, LLC won the 2012 Fort Worth Business Plan Competition, a program of the Fort Worth Business Assistance Center, at the finals presentations and awards program on November 15 at Texas Christian University.
Online, November 20, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Technology Team, which helps businesses assess and manage the risks of relocating or re-configuring mission critical equipment with its team of relocation experts, won the 2012 Fort Worth Business Plan Competition, a program of the Fort Worth Business Assistance Center
On November 15th, the three finalists presented to a panel of judges at the Dee J. Kelley Alumni and Visitors Center on the Texas Christian University campus. The three finalists were judged on their business plans (70% of final score) and their presentations and Q&A with the judges (30%).
Fondren Forensics, Inc., specializing in alcohol-related forensic analyses, consultation, testimony and training, finished second. Elegant Nuptials & Event, which provides wedding and social event consulting, design, and planning, finished third.
The three finalists were awarded cash and prize packages valued at more than $35,000 for first place, $6,000 for second and $5,000 for third. Prize sponsors included Capital One Bank, The Alternative Board, SalesMastery Consultants, Inc./Sandler Training, Fort Worth Business Press, Advice, B2B CFO and the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
The competition, open to all BAC clients and Tarrant County businesses and startups, started with 25 participants who received training and coaching on strengthening their business during four training sessions.
