Great place to work institute organizes an award ceremony recognizing the best companies in industry for various companies. Teleperformance got the best employer award this year.

Great Place To Work Institute awarded The Best BPO Employer in India 2015 honour to Teleperformance – India. The study conducted in the year 2015 saw participation of 700 companies from 20 different industry backgrounds.

Teleperformance started its venture in the year 2001 and after fifteen years it is one the leading provider of customer support service in India. Employees working in this organization are referred to as Teleperformers who engage with the organization through various innovative ways.

Teleperformance moved out from the conventional thinking of setting up a BPO in metro cities. They established their business in non-metro cities like Jaipur, Indore with the thought of providing the youth with better work opportunities in their home towns.

A number of people move out of their hometown to settle down in big cities to find work and make a living, some face home sickness, some feel really alone without a family support which hampers work productivity. So providing work opportunities in home town will result into a more effective work productivity.

Teleperformance gained the recognition as they proved their commitment towards building a workplace that will not only help the organization, but lead to the development of the employees.

The leaders of this organization are now granted invitation to participate in the ‘Best Employers Club’ which is a forum to share ideas and opinions to raise a more effective work culture.

“We are humbled by this recognition. Our teams deserve credit for shaping our People strategy to maintain high standards of excellence at workplace”, said Sanjay Mehta, MD, Teleperformance India.

Companies who get nominated for the category of best work place goes through many processes before finally being able to receive an award. It takes opinion from the employees and study the work culture and finally makes a list of companies that suits the criteria.

“Since 2001, Teleperformance India has emerged as a leader with both global and domestic clients. “Equally important, though, is our leadership as an employer. This recognition from Great Place to Work Institute speaks of our commitment to building an outstanding work environment for our team.” said Paulo César Salles Vasques, Worldwide Chief Executive Officer, Teleperformance Group.
