Online, October 25, 2011 (Newswire.com) - WESTCHESTER, CA - Beverly Hills-based luxury real estate brokerage Teles Properties is encouraging everyone who enjoys beautiful homes and supporting an outstanding cause to join them on Sunday, November 6, during the Westchester Mental Health Guild's annual Holiday Home Tour. Showcasing five spectacular residences, all professionally decorated for various holidays, the tour will take place between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
"At Teles Properties, we are proud to be a member of the Westchester community and pleased to support this important local event and the Westchester Mental Health Guild," commented Peter Hernandez, president and broker of record with Teles.
During the fun-filled tour, ticketed guests can visit all five residences and then attend a festive reception, where the Guilded Cage Boutique will offer the opportunity to enjoy early holiday shopping. The reception and boutique will welcome guests between noon and 5 p.m.
"Please seize this once-a-year chance to see a variety of Westchester homes all spruced up and ready to show off their unique charms," encouraged Teles agent Amy Frelinger. "It is a joyful event and a wonderful place to see neighbors and friends, as well as meet new people while supporting a great community resource. We are so proud to sponsor our handsome Kentwood Collection home on Altamor."
Frelinger and Teles agent Stephanie Younger are asking for volunteers to help at the Kentwood Collection home during various times of the day. To volunteer, call Amy Frelinger at 310.951.0416 or Stephanie Younger at 424.203.1828.
The Holiday Home Tour is the Guild's largest fundraiser of the year. All proceeds from the event support the Airport Marina Counseling Service, a nonprofit, community-based mental health clinic that serves the LAX, South Bay and Westside areas of Los Angeles. Open seven days a week, AMCS annually provides thousands of hours of effective mental health counseling services, with a small paid staff of only six. AMCS provides services on a sliding-fee scale. Between 300 to 500 children, adults and families are treated weekly. The clinic has established outreach programs with local elementary and high schools, providing child therapy and preventive intervention.
