Telesens Launches The Musical Rights Management System At Kyivstar
Telesens has just created the musical management system for Kyivstar, a leader in the Ukranian mobile and content services market
Online, October 4, 2010 (Newswire.com) - MKyiv, Kharkiv
Kyivstar, a leader in the Ukrainian mobile and content services market, has defined the development of its multimedia services as a strategic priority. -
Two of Kyivstar's key content services are the D-Jingle music content service and the music portal http://music.djuice.ua.
To provide these services, the national mobile operator has signed agreements with the largest world and national rights holders including Sony Music, Universal Music, EMI/Comp Music, Warner, Mamamusic and Moon Records. -
To work with rights holders effectively, Kyivstar had to develop a software solution that would enable them to manage rights and settlements for the content provided and to generate the necessary reports. -
The cooperation between Kyivstar and Telesens in developing this system allowed Kyivstar to solve this challenge flexibly and to create a unique product that meets the requirements of all the parties involved in the multimedia business. -
Thanks to the new musical rights management system, Kyivstar is now able to store all the information about content, pay necessary royalties for authors and related rights automatically and generate reports. This innovative solution allows Kyivstar to work flexibly with all rights holders to provide subscribers with the widest range of music and to make the hottest music hits available immediately. -
