Tempus Resource Delivers the Future in PPM at PMO Symposium 2019
CLEVELAND, October 31, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Tempus Resource by ProSymmetry, a resource portfolio management solution that enables product development, research, IT, audit and governance-related organizations to forecast, track and manage projects and resources today announced that it will present at this year’s PMO Symposium in Denver.
On Tuesday, Nov. 5 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Tempus Resource Managing Director Sean Pales will deliver a session titled “The Future is Resource Management: Why Are Resources the Key Criteria to Successful Project Portfolio Management?”. In his presentation, he will discuss how viewing the work of the organization as project-to-project causes organizations to lose sight of larger strategies and initiatives toward growth.
“I’m passionate about providing organizations with the tools they need to shift their project-based mindset to a resource management-based mindset,” Sean said. “Focusing solely on managing tasks inhibits our ability to gather data, assess processes, and make informed decisions. Our software is changing that.”
Other learning objectives covered will include an overview of how resource portfolio management can replace Excel entirely and the trends that are forcing current resource management models to change.
