Tenabes Awarded with State of Texas Department of Information Resource (DIR)

Online, January 11, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Tenabes, a new classification of technology solution provider, today announced that the Texas Department of Information Resource based in Austin, Texas, has awarded Tenabes as a software technology provider for all DIR Customers. Texas DIR is a heavily sought after certification and contract award process which many resellers, consulting firms, technology manufacturers and service provides seek to win.

The category Tenabes has been awarded is under the "Software Products and Relates Services". In this contract Tenabes will sell some leading technologies in the Asset Management, End Point Protection, Security and Vulnerability, Compliance, Power Savings (Green IT), and Network Security. The two primary products Tenabes is now authorized to sell to all DIR customers; BigFix and Trend Micro including services and support.

Tenabes is a State of Texas Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) and Minority and Women Business Enterprise (MWBE).

Tenabes focuses on two types of value based technologies, Cost Savings and Simplified Technologies. These technologies must add value in the areas of securing or managing physical, virtual, or mobile computing systems and the software to support them along with elements of Green IT Solutions. The first category is solutions that replace older generation systems with a direct and immediate cost savings to their clients which simplifies how they do business today. The second focus is to adopt new and edgy solutions which fall under the Mobile Computing Environment or IT Infrastructure Management which will result in an applicable value in the Green IT computing space.
