Tenants Snatching Up Space at The Offices At The Collection 'Far Ahead of Schedule'

Online, August 18, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Although retail anchors such as REI and Whole Foods and restaurants like the Yard House and Gen Korean BBQ are generating most of the recent buzz, leasing activity at The Offices at The Collection is also going gangbusters, officials say.

"We're definitely seeing a larger diversity of tenant interest, and leasing is far ahead of schedule," says Tom Dwyer, senior vice president at CBRE.

Take Good Sam Club, for example, who recently leased 10,000 square feet of prime office space located above the shops and restaurants along the main street of the open-air specialty center. Good Sam is the second big office signing at The Offices.

Good Sam, the international organization of recreational vehicle owners that saves members money through club-endorsed benefits and services, is scheduled to open late this year, Dwyer said. Its offices at The Collection will serve as Good Sam's West Coast corporate headquarters, previously located in Ventura.

Good Sam joins Lawyers Title & Escrow, which in November moved into 8,600 square feet at The Offices. Lawyers Title & Escrow serves lenders, builders, developers, attorneys and real estate professionals, as well as residential customers.

"What's attracting these and other tenants are the amazing amenities within The Collection," said Dwyer, referring to the dining, shopping and entertainment options located a short stroll from office doors. "It's a huge selling point to the office market, because there's nothing else remotely like The Collection in this region. And with the recently announced 40,000 square foot 24-Hour Fitness Super Sport, The Offices has really set itself apart from the competition."

Office tenants at The Collection will experience the thrill of brand-new space with fresh paint and contemporary interior finishes. The lobby is sleek, comfortable and modern with upscale leather furnishings, custom artwork and the ability to create lasting first impressions. Tenants can even take business outside onto private balconies, or take advantage of operable windows to enjoy the fresh coastal air.

Dwyer said talks are under way with potential office tenants, including tech-related companies and service-industry businesses such as insurance and real estate, to name a few. He expects the remaining office space at The Collection to fill up soon.

Tenants at The Offices can, or will soon, be able to enjoy the many fantastic restaurants The Collection has to offer, including those open now like The Yard House, Kabuki Japanese, Gen Korean BBQ, and those coming soon like Settebello Pizzeria, Famous Dave's, and Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill. Tenants also have a variety of quick service eateries to choose from including Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Panera Bread, Gandolfo's NY Deli, Starbucks, and Menchie's Frozen Yogurt.

In addition to a growing list of specialty retailers, The Collection's other anchors include Target, Century Theatres, and opening this fall, a flagship 25,000 square foot H&M.
