TENTEN Wilshire Rooftop: MBDA So Cal Mixer

Los Angeles, California , April 19, 2016 (Newswire.com) - TENTEN Wilshire proudly welcomes the Minority Business Development Agency in Los Angeles and is honored to be the chosen location of the organization’s upcoming MBDA SoCal Mixer. This networking event on Friday, April 22, from 6:30 – 9:30 pm, on TENTEN’s award-winning rooftop is the perfect opportunity for members and interested parties to mingle with other professionals, meet new friends, and discover new opportunities. The views of the city make for a gorgeous backdrop and the lounge and fire pit add a special touch to the community atmosphere. Drinks and snacks will be provided. The Minority Business Development Agency was originally established as the Office of Minority Business Enterprise by President Richard M. Nixon in 1969. The purpose was to establish a federal agency dedicated exclusively to minority business enterprises. Fulfilling its promise, MBDA has been a loyal and reliable strategic partner to US minority-owned businesses for 45 years. In 2014, MBDA assist minority businesses received more than 4.7 billion US dollars in financing and contract, creating thirty thousand jobs. MBDA has 44 business centers in the US.

The MBDA Business Center in Los Angeles is a program of USC Civic Engagement and Economic Development. The program is funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce through the Minority Business Development Agency and has been hosted at USC since 1996.
