The 14-Day Guide to Body Confidence That's Changing the Way Women See Themselves

Based on Anastasia Amour’s personal experience in conquering a 5 year near-fatal battle with anorexia, surviving emotional abuse and learning to love the skin she’s in (stretch marks, wobbly bits, cellulite and all), her debut self-help title Inside Out takes readers through an empowering 14-day journey.

Inside Out is the resource that I can only wish that I’d had access to at the lowest points of my self-esteem and body image,” notes Anastasia.  Tackling the tough and seldom discussed topics of negative thought patterns, food relationships and toxic influences through proven science and psychology in a personal and relatable way, Inside Out provides a middle ground that’s sorely lacking in the body image spectrum at present.

“Not all girls & women have access to counseling or want to seek that professional help out, and it seems to be that many self-help books are either filled with fluffy and impractical advice (like “Take a bath and smile at yourself!” or are far too technical to be widely accessible to those who need them most. I wanted Inside Out to read less like a clinical self-help book, and more like a conversation with a close friend.”

Making psychological change easy, accessible and sustainable for the long-term, Inside Out is designed to help girls and women shun diet culture, shed their negative perceptions of their bodies and find their own path to self-love.

“It’s deeply troubling how much faux-empowerment is out there right now,” remarks Anastasia on the current portrayal of body image issues in the media. “We’re at a stage where themes of negative self-esteem have become so deeply rooted in our cultural system to the point that they’re regarded as “the norm”. To see negative body image regarded as a frivolous issue is saddening to say the least – and that’s something that I intend to change. If I can help even one girl or one woman to see that she has the power to define her own beauty and learn how to love all those parts of herself that she’s been taught to hate… well, then I think I’ve done something amazing.”

Inside Out will be released on Saturday November 14th, 2015 and will be available exclusively online at AnastasiaAmour[dot]com. Inside Out is available in paperback and printable eBook formats for $12.00 and $15.00 AUD respectively.
