The 22nd Convocation Ceremony of FORE School of Management
New Delhi, May 26, 2015 (Newswire.com) - In keeping with its sustained focus on the entrepreneurship in social sector, FORE School of Management will be having Mr. Abhayanand, IPS and Mentor - Super 30, as the Chief Guest for its 22nd convocation for the Passing out batches in 2015. The convocation ceremony is held annually for the Future Managers Group (FMG), International Managers Group (IMG) and Working Managers Group (WMG) batches, as a culmination of their management education. A total of 155 students - 173 from batch 22 of FMG, 55 from batch 7 of IMG, and 27 from Batch 21 of WMG - will be awarded their Masters during this ceremony.
Mr. Abhayanand, along with the mathematician Mr Anand Kumar, is widely regarded as a co-creator of the Super 30, one of the globally recognised edupreneurial ventures that has emerged from India. Started in 2000, Super 30 is the route for the brightest amongst underprivileged children to get through the IITs. On an average, 27 to 28 of the Super 30 students make it to the IITs. Mr. Abhayanand, in particular, is recognised for taking Super 30 beyond its single unit in Patna, to several states across the country. As many as 102 underprivileged Super 30 students made it to IIT this year (2015) including a Kashmiri studentfrom the Kashmir Super 30 centre - supported by the Dogra Regiment of the Indian Army.

The convocation ceremony will begin sharp at 4 PM on Friday, the 29th of May 2015. After lighting of the ceremonial lamp, Mr.R.C.Sharma, President, FORE School of Management, New Delhi will declare the convocation open. This will be followed by the presentation of the activity report for 2014-15 by Dr. Jitendra K. Das, Director, FORE School of Management, New Delhi. The gathering will then welcome the Chief Guest for the convocation. The President, FORE School of Management will thereafter confer Diplomas on the graduating batches after which the Hon’ble Chief Guest will award the scholastic medals and deliver the convocation address. The vote of thanks will be ceremoniously offered, after which the convocation will be declared closed in the backdrop of the national anthem.
