The Academy of Pedorthic Science Launches New Website and Full Pedorthic/Fitter Curriculum

Atlanta, GA, June 11, 2015 (Newswire.com) - The Academy of Pedorthic Science has launched our Pedorthic Education webite. Offering pedorthic education since 2000, the Academy of Pedorthic Science is one of the few training centers to encompass  Pedorthic Certification, Certified Fitter of Therapeutic Shoes Certification and both live and online Continuing Education.

Our Pedorthic Certification Program is University Sponsored and approved by NCOPE.  It is approved for Veteran Education benefits and assistance.  OPGA members are eligible to receive a tuition discount.

The Certified Fitter of Therapeutic Shoes pre-certification course is approved by NCOPE and the American Board of Certification.  Shoe Fitter candidates can access the entire course completely online, including the interactive laboratory.

Continuing Education approved for Orthotists, Pedorthists and Shoe Fitters is available online and live classes.  Online courses are offered through our interactive and self paced web based Learning Management System.

The American Board of Certification released the 2014 candidate pass rates for graduates of Pedorthic Precertification Programs.  Each month, the percentage of ABC C. Ped. examination candidates who graduated from the Academy of Pedorthic Science was significantly higher than the national average.  By the year end 2014, APS graduates had  a pass rate almost 30% higher than the national average.

The Academy of Pedorthic Science is offering 4 (four) outstanding live CEU's (Continuing Education Units) opportunities during the month of July.
